Julia has shared a post all about stenciling cookies which is perfect for Valentines even if your cookies don’t start out looking like this it sure would be fun to try! & of course get better at doing. It really is about having the right lens for what you are going to be photographing. Whether your photographing  up close, action, styling, food, distance or looking to give a scene effects like blur. I happened across an post at Kevin & Amanda that is sure to help you at some point with selecting & purchasing the lens you might need in the future. The post also has a break down of meanings which is quite helpful.

  1. I am in love with photography, but still very much in the learning stage. I still barely know how to use my SLR but I love learning. I don’t have as much time to practice as I’d like.
    That hammock prop? So adorable.

    1. I agree, it makes such a wonderful prop. I am really wanting to upgrade my camera this spring, so I keep bookmarking anything I can get my hands on for learning. Thanks for stopping in & commenting with your busy schedule of being a new mommy.

  2. I love photography. Two decades ago I had a very good analog camera. I still have it but with the digital revolution it’s obsolete now. I want to buy a really good SLR and various lenses, unfortunately my hubby doesn’t feel happy about spending a fortune on camera.

  3. Ah, yes they can be quite pricey but maybe you can find one that fits the budget & save up to get more / better later. I am still saving for my dream one! I hope to get it this spring!
