Cinco de Mayo bookmarks – I designed these printable bookmarks with colorful designs such as flowers, cacti, and skulls in pretty colors. They can be used for a Cinco de Mayo book read-aloud (to keep your spot while reading). OR use it while reading your favorite books to keep the spot where you left off.
- Additionally, these bookmarks can be used at any time of the year and not just for this celebration.
- What is Cinco de Mayo? Cinco de Mayo is a yearly celebration on May 5th to celebrate the victory at Puebla over the second French empire in 1862.
Printable Cinco de Mayo Bookmarks
Use the free printable bookmarks for yourself, your teens, and your kids, or for teachers to pass out in the classroom… Give them as fiesta or party favors, and print them as much as you like for PERSONAL USE ONLY!
This is an easy DIY craft that you can do at home. Print, cut, and laminate the bookmarks to use.
- You will need to save the files (directions and print files are below)
- A Printer (I own this Canon Printer)
- Scissors or a Papercutter like this.
- Printer Paper 8.5 x 11-inch or Cardstock
- Laminator (and laminating sheets)
- Optionally you can punch a hole with a hole punch (I own this style, perfect for all types of projects) and add tassels or ribbons to your bookmark.

How To Print The Files
- Print the files with a horizontal layout on the printer.
To save the files: (Right-click and save PNG files or use the PDF download button) Save the file to your computer. - You may use a high-quality print or standard print adjustment on your printer.
Note: the colors may vary slightly from the computer screen and be more muted. - Use cardstock or white computer paper.
- Laminate the bookmarks to give them even more strength.
