Chocolate For Dipping Strawberries
Orange Candy Color (Or use candy color added to white chocolate candy melts)

- Prep Time: 60 Minutes (drying the strawberries)

Strawberry Covered Carrots Ingredients
Ingredients
- 12 Fresh Strawberries (Use bright red strawberries with no bruising, size medium and large.)
- 1 bag of Orange Candy Melts
You can easily double or triple the recipe. For more servings or larger serving sizes.
What Kitchen Items to Have on Hand for Making Chocolate-Covered Strawberries
- Natural Bamboo Skewers – To help hold and dip the strawberries into the chocolate.
- Paper Towels – To help make sure all the moisture is removed from the strawberries.
- Parchment Paper – This will allow the chocolate to dry and for you to be able to remove the dried strawberries covered in chocolate without breaking the chocolate shell.
- Tray/Sheetpan to place the strawberries for drying.
- Spoon and microwaveable bowl.
- Piping Bag Set – For piping chocolate lines onto the strawberries.
Prep The Strawberries For Dipping In Chocolate
- Give the strawberries a gentle washing and thorough drying.
The strawberries must be completely dry before dipping in chocolate! - Pat them dry with paper towels. Allow them to air dry on a rack or paper towels for at least an hour. Have them at room temperature before dipping.
Instructions
- Melt the candy melts in a bowl (microwave-safe) according to the directions on the bag. Heat them on a defrost for 2 minutes. Then stir and heat at 1-minute intervals until melted.
- Pull up the tops of the strawberries, dip a wooden skewer into the candy melts, and place them on parchment paper to dry.
- Put the remaining melted candy melts into a piping bag. Cut and drizzle over the strawberries. Let dry. Keep in fridge until ready to serve.
Tada! You just made chocolate-covered strawberry carrots!
