How to make chocolate truffles - Mix chocolate chips and Bailey's, melt, cool, roll balls, dip in more melted chocolate, add sprinkles. Repeat. Quick & easy recipe at  DearCreatives.com
  1. Heat 1 cup of the chocolate chips with 1/2 cup of Bailey’s Irish Cream for one minute, in a (microwave-safe) bowl. Stir well.
  2. If needed; Heat the bowl for an additional 30 seconds. Then, stir until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Add the bowl to the freezer to chill for about 30 minutes. Or until the ganache is set.
  4. Line the work surface with parchment paper.
  5. Melt the remaining chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, using 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  6. Remove the ganache from the freezer and scoop it into one-inch-sized balls (about a teaspoon size or so).
  7. Working quickly, use a spoon to dip the ganache balls into the melted chocolate and tap the excess chocolate on the side of the bowl.
  8. Place the dipped truffle on the parchment paper and decorate it with sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
  9. Repeat the steps and process for the remaining truffles.

How To Store Truffles

Truffles can be stored at room temperature for up to 7 days.

  • 1 Tablespoon of (real) Chocolate Sprinkles
