How To Set Up a Coffee Bar
- Use a kitchen cart, corner or console table, small sideboard cabinet, or shelf. Or if you have enough room create more space by using a baker’s rack on wheels like this.
- Utilize shelving, coffee-cup peg board, mug holder wall-mounted shelf, and go vertical. Use a lazy Susan for added space and easy reach.
- Keep your coffee area organized and clutter-free. It’s easy to have too many items out. Select favorites to display/use in a wooden coffee organizer and have backup supplies in the pantry or cabinet. Organize your coffee filters or pods in a coffee container like this!
- Baskets, jars, canisters, and coffee bean canisters can help keep items contained. For teas use a tea organizer like this. Need extra space for coffee cups? Get a coffee tree like this.
- Tiered trays, round trays, trays with feet, serving trays… can be utilized to store or serve coffee.
- Espresso much? Get dedicated coffee spoons or a syrup dispenser set for your coffee station. Store syrup bottles on a three tiered coffee syrup rack.
Protect your surface with an absorbent, quick-dry mat in case of spills. This is perfect if you set your coffee station on a wood surface…

Create a Cozy Atmosphere To Enjoy Your Coffee Drinks And Beverages
- Soften lighting to make an inviting space to wake up to vs. harsh lighting.
- Add decorative accents; a hurricane candle, fall foliage, a plant, a coffee sign hung, or chalkboard art near your coffee station…
- Get cute seasonal mugs or ceramic latte mugs like these (I just got these and love them). Last year I got a few pumpkin shaped ceramic mugs. They are so pretty and it gives your coffee station fall vibes.
- Create a cozy nook or seating area by the coffee bar to enjoy your beverages while relaxing.
