Dear Creatives, No internet yesterday & part of today! Derailed Again!! I guess you could say my provider is not measuring up! But, Rather than not post at all I thought I would put together a quick post of a few things that are great for when your cooking, baking, measuring & preserving! I always find that there is a time when you have to convert a measurement for a recipe & I found some helpful charts along with other information I thought I would share with you today.

This time of year I do a lot of harvesting of fresh herbs & enjoy cooking with them. I wasn’t sure what ratio the fresh to dried is until I did a little research. One tablespoon of fresh herbs is equal to 1 teaspoon of dried herbs. (3-1 ratio) I took the photograph of my sage bush & added the measurement conversion. Feel free to use & share it, just credit back to me. I found the herb seasonal chart (1st photo) on Pinterest & thought you might enjoy it if you are just starting herb gardening. Also Martha Stewart’s Herb 101 article full of tips for growing & preserving herbs. Below is a tea towel with measurements I know I saw an apron with them too but, can’t remember where. Love that!
