Crock Pot Recipe Picadillo
I wanted to share a recipe I tried from The SkinnyTaste it was her Crock Pot Picadillo recipe. I just love it when you try a new recipe and it turns out just the way it is suppose to! This recipe is so easy, in a crock pot and packed full of flavor. This is a Cuban dish. It’s not spicy but, very flavorful. I think this is the type of recipe you can serve up any night and everyone will enjoy. The best part is while it’s in the crock pot you can be crafting, sewing or finding time for something else. I wanted to share how easy this Crock Pot Picadillo recipe is with you!

With minimal ingredients you can make this dish. Many of them you will probably have on hand. Just leaving you to purchase fresh ingredients such as, ground beef and cilantro for making the dish.

Steps for Making Picadillo
You just brown your meat in a skillet, drain off fat and put into a pre sprayed with non stick spray crock pot. Then toss in the garlic, onion and red bell pepper sauteing a few minutes. Transfer to crock pot. Then add in tomato sauce. Toss in cilantro, green olives and then your herbs.

Secret Ingredients for flavor are the spices!
Stir in your spices, cover your crock pot and let the flavors create the magic, cooking the crock pot picadillo recipe while you do something else!

Serve with Rice
Then you wind up with a dish you can serve with rice or in a bowl with a side salad. Another tried and true ready to add to the files, make again meal!
