Directions
How to make Easter Treat Boxes
Step (1)
Trace the large pattern from the template file on the selected card-stock paper and carefully cut out the traced pattern; this is the template for the pillow box. Use the X-acto knife to cut out the egg shape from the box template.
Step (2)
Use a small pointy object or the backside of the X-acto knife to create half-cuts along the dash lines on the box template. Apply glue along the thin part of the template.
Step (3)
Fold the large part on the other end and join it with the glued thin part.
Step (4)
Close any one end of the box by folding in the 2 half-circled parts.
Step (5)
Select 4-5 different colored craft papers and trace the small circles, grass, leaf, and flower patterns on them. Roll the spiral cut out from its outer edge and glue the rolled part with the center of the spiral pattern to create flowers. You can add more leaves and flowers if you want to.
Step (6)
Glue the grass along the bottom edge of the box. Then glue the flowers, leaves and finally the small circles.
Step (7)
Once done decorating the treat box prepare the treats in a small clear bag
and place it inside the box through its open end.
Step (8)
Close the Easter treat box after filling it with the treats. Simply fold in the half-circle patterns and you are done!
