Use the granola for a back-to-school breakfast idea, breakfasts, snacks, or as a topping for yogurt. Or use it in a yogurt bowl. It might become your family’s favorite recipe. Granola is easy to make and stores well in air-tight containers.

Kitchen Tools/Supplies You Will Need to Make This Recipe
- Mixing Bowl
- Baking mixing spoon set and Measuring cups.
- Baking Spoon or Spatula
- A Baking sheet
- Silpat (non-stick baking mat) Or Parchment Paper
- An Air-tight storage container
How To Make Homemade Granola
Ingredients
- 4 cups Quaker Organic Rolled Oats
- 2 cups Dried Apricots (chop them)
- 1 cup Dried Cranberries
- 1 cup Seedless Sunflower Seeds (seeded)
- 1 cup Sliced/Silvered Almonds
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans
- 1/2 cup Dried Blueberries
- 1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- 1/3 cup Melted Coconut Oil
- 1/3 cup Honey
- 1 teaspoon of Pure Vanilla Extract
First, you’ll want to gather your supplies and ingredients, placing them onto a clean surface area.
Preheat the oven to 350F
Add the dry ingredients; oatmeal and dried fruits… into a bowl. Our favorite ingredients include chopped apricots, dried cranberries, and dried blueberries.
Next, add in your favorite nuts and seeds. We love pecans, seeded sunflower seeds, and almonds. But, you can also use walnuts and ingredients you and your family will enjoy eating. Then, add brown sugar, cinnamon, honey, coconut oil, and vanilla and stir the mixture well.
Directions
- Pour the mixture onto your Silpat or another non-stick baking mat (or use parchment paper).
- Add the baking tray with prepared ingredients into the oven baking at 350F degrees for 15 minutes then take it out stir the ingredients, and bake another 10-15 minutes.
- You will need to check on the granola as it bakes— Ovens and altitude will vary finish baking time.
You don’t want to over-bake the granola. The oats will be a golden color when done.
Let the mix cool completely before storing.
Then store the homemade granola in an air-tight storage container and set a little in a bowl for eating, yum! My favorite glass storage containers.

How To Make Homemade Granola
Preheat the oven to 350F
Measure and Add Ingredients To The Mixing Bowl
Add the oats, chopped apricots, dried cranberries, and dried blueberries to the mixing bowl.
Next, add chopped pecans, seeded sunflower seeds, and slivered almonds to the mixing bowl.
Then, add the brown sugar, cinnamon, melted coconut oil, honey, and vanilla extract in and stir the mixture well.
Pour the mixed granola ingredients onto your Silpat, non-stick baking mat, or parchment paper. Add it into the pre-heated oven baking at 350F degrees for 15 minutes.
Then remove the baking tray from the oven (wearing oven-mits). Stir ingredients and bake another 10-15 minutes. You'll need to check on the final baking time as ovens and altitude will vary finish it, You don't want to overcook the granola. The oats will be a golden color when they are done.
Remove the tray carefully wearing oven-mits. Let the mix cool completely. Then store the granola when fully cooled in an air-tight storage container. Glass storage containers are best.
