How To Make Cleaning Easier – There are a list of things that have worked for me to make keeping my house nice and clean and I am sharing them today. These tips for keeping your home clean will work for anyone who has struggled to keep a clean house or is new to keeping your dorm, apartment, or home clean.

By getting a few specific tools to clean with and products to keep the house clean you can make your space sparkling clean and give it that clean homey feeling for yourself, the family, or entertaining.

What is your biggest struggle with cleaning?

Mine used to be clutter and not having proper storage for things. I’d have to move things around just to clean. It was so time consuming. Plus, I needed to set up a proper routine to clean the house. Get all our cleaning tips here.

  1. Number one is get rid of (or donate) excess clutter and things you no longer use.
  2. Find proper storage for the things you own.
  3. Keep things organized.

This will save you time running room to room picking up before cleaning

Use a basket like this or my favorite basket like this pick up things before you start tackling areas of the house. If you have kids enlist their help and have them pick up things on the floor… Then they can sort and put away things if they are old enough. If they aren’t old enough, or you don’t have kids, after cleaning you can put away the things you picked up and put in the basket.
