Today I thought I’d share my mini makeover of my laundry room and what I got to add storage for my laundry room and keep things tidy.
We don’t all have beautiful designer laundry rooms. But, we can make them look better and be more functional. Below find some of my favorite laundry room ideas.

Recently I had to replace my old washer and dryer. This had me moving things and with a storage dilemma. I want to give my laundry room a makeover. Do you want to redo yours?

What’s next on my list for beautifying my laundry room?
First, I added storage. Perfect for storing when I get products on sale and having a place to keep them until needed. It also holds my laundry basket(s), kitty litter, delicate clothes washing basket, and extra throw rugs.

My storage solution was solved when I popped over to Target and grabbed two laundry room storage options. However, I would love a full redo of the room. I purchased the 3 Tiered Shelf and the cart.
Now, I am making it look better and more organized than it was. This 3-tier storage shelf was easy to assemble and has adjustable shelves. I can’t wait to share how I make it look pretty! And I love my new stackable washer and dryer set!
Laundry Room Makeover Ideas
Laundry Room Makeover Goals: I am going for a modern boho, farmhouse, chic look. Problems: It’s narrow, a high-traffic room as it leads to the garage, and has a cat litter box area. A wall of craft storage hung from the ceiling. Limited space and a small laundry room.
This was just the first step and below are my next steps to making it look pretty!
Easy Ways To Makeover The Laundry Room
- Add Extra Storage and bins(shown below).
- Paint it. This time I’m thinking of painting a neutral color like this whisper white eggshell.
- Add peel-and-stick tiles to the floor (I don’t think he wants to redo the floors yet). So far the Sullivan Peel & Stick Floor Tiles are my favorite.
- Update the window curtains.
- Get matching laundry baskets and hampers (from the ideas below).
- Get a lint catcher (shown below), a laundry sheet box, and a retractable line for drying clothes indoors. My favorite pick is this white wood wall-mount drying rack.
