Outfit Ideas for School

Are you starting to look for fall outfit ideas? Or back to school clothes? Sammie has been purging her closet, and mine too. She’s been mixing, and matching outfit ideas for school, school photo day, and deciding what else she needs to add to her wardrobe. We have been shopping a few times getting ready for school. Each time we have picked up a new trendy outfit, or article of clothing she can mix into her existing wardrobe.

We are both so ready to update our wardrobe for fall. Are you?

Our favorite style of shorts

Shorts can be a fashion staple well into October depending on where you live. Toss on a sweater for mornings if needed. Stripes, solid colors, polka dots will have you right on trend. Rather than wearing jump suits pair matching shorts and tops together like this short set (shown above) or this matching short set with short sleeves top which is perfect for school.

Mustard, rust, black and white….

We love fall colors for pants. The classic mustard, rust, black and white. Add in polka dots, and stripes you’ll be set until winter. Of course you need to add a stylish sweatpants, jean, or stripe drawstring pants for days you want to be casual and comfy.

White Shirts for Mixing and Matching

Tee shirts and cotton shirts in white are a staple to mix and match with your outfits. They are a must have.

Without getting into all the dress styles for fall two must haves are a tee shirt dress and overall dress. Layer a sweater or jacket over any of these combinations to complete your look. With a minimal amount of clothes you can get a maximum mix and match wardrobe.
