How to make deviled eggs
Start by hard-boiling your eggs. (how to hard-boiled eggs – video)
Peel and rinse if needed.
Cut your hard-boiled eggs in half, lengthwise.
Remove yolks and add them into a bowl.
Mash your eggs with a fork.
Mix with 2 tsp. mustard, 2 tsp. spicy brown mustard, and 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. (adjust the mayo and mustard if you need it creamier and keep mashing)
Add and mix in a dash of salt and pepper.
Stir and mash until your desired creaminess is reached. Now you have the deviled egg recipe to start with.
When done pipe or spoon into your cooked hollowed eggs whites. Want to kick them up a k-notch? Add any of the spices to add to your deviled eggs, ingredients listed below. My favorite is paprika and a dash of red pepper flakes.

- Add paprika with an optional dash of red pepper flakes
- Try adding sriracha
- A dash of hot sauce
- Jalapenos
- Diced green chile peppers (mild, medium,fire-roasted)
- Cajun seasoning
- Smoked paprika
- Cayenne Pepper
Typically I don’t overly add paprika but, a good dash makes them ever soooo tasty! Bite, after bite these are delicious deviled eggs. You will find this not overly spicy but, not your plain and simple deviled egg taste. Grab your eggs and get making this spiced deviled eggs recipe.
