How I styled our living room
First off, this wasn’t my first home decor style pick. The Mid-century modern look. But, he had to have the Aimes Chair knock-off in genuine leather. I compromised. And he loves it. The couch looks so much better in person!!!
This couch style complements both boho chic and modern aesthetics. Although it’s currently sold out, similar options are available at a discounted price.
- I styled the couch with pretty pillows and throw blankets to make it less masculine.
- The rug is actually for the open-concept living room and dining room.
- This isn’t the dining set we are getting. It sold out. I used style boards to decide what might look good and complement the living room style. Stay tuned for updates.

My Wayfair Experience
I can honestly say, at the last Wayfair sale they had I purchased a new sofa and chair. After 22 years the ones I had were destroyed by overuse, kids, and pets, plus years of use.
We are very happy with our purchase! And our little Luna loves curling up under throw blankets and waiting for us to sit with her.
- The service was fantastic, with free shipping, and white glove delivery set up. They even took our sad couch away for $100 bucks. Hello, no dump run. Maybe they recycle them? I hope.
- What furniture do you need to update in your home? What home decor items are you looking for?
- We still have a lot of updating to do but, we picked the major one first. Next, it is the dining room.
