Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Quick and easy homemade cranberry sauce. This can be made simply or add a few other items for cranberry raspberry orange sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 bag of fresh cranberries washed clean
  • 1 orange
  • Jar of raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. Put 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar and a bag of fresh (rinsed) cranberries in a pot.Turn on high and bring to a boil. Stir occasionally.*
  2. Cook for 10 minutes

If adding raspberry and oranges

  1. Next seed and squeeze half an orange. Add the juice to the cranberries on the stove.
  2. Measure and add 4 tablespoons of raspberry jam to your mix.
  3. Cook a few more minutes. Cool and serve. Refrigerate if not serving right away.

Recipe Notes

This recipe can be used with or without orange raspberry.
